By Frank Byronn Glenn -- The Republicans have criticized the Democrats for their radical agenda, when it is in fact the Republicans who have run politics off the rail to the right. .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 . RAISE THE MARGINAL TAX RATE BACK TO 91% LIKE 1954 First, "radical" ideas on the left would be things like raising the marginal tax rate back to 94% like it was under Eisenhower in 1954.  If the job creators did not like it, they could go ahead and relocate to China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, or someplace where they are out-sourcing jobs to, anyway.  If they don't want to pay taxes, while they use tax payer subsidies to fund their re-locations - let them go. Who needs them anyway. Their only loyalty is to their pocket books, and then they take the money they make and buy politicians, rig elections and fund think tanks to come up with new ideas about how they can turn the United States into their own personal banana republic even faster! .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                . IF THEY ARE REALLY JOB CREATORS -- TAX  THEM FOR JOBS LOST--CREDIT THEM FOR JOBS CREATED .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 . Second, if the yes men for the economic royalists run out in a press conference and cry that if we tax millionaire and billionaire "job creators"  one plug nickel more it will just hurt them so much and cause them so many jitters and - and oh so much "uncertainty" that they'll just be too nervous to create any jobs at all.  These Republican alter boys actually have it correct, though, when they say their corporate priests and masters are job creators - they're just not creating any of those jobs here in the United States. They are creating jobs in formerly third world countries where they are paying $0.30 to $3.00 per hour for slave labor with no benefits and no environmental or safety regulations for workers.  So I have an idea: if they are job creators, let's reward them. Let's give a $10,000 tax credit for each job they create in the United States and charge them a $10,000 tax surcharge for  each job they out-source - and each person they lay off.  These "job creators" Boehner, Kantor, McConnell, Ryan pity-pot about should love that. In fact, let's really reward the job creators and make the law retro-active to 1980.  All you mighty job creators are really going to get rich, now, right.  Oh come on.  If you're "job creators" you're going to make out like the bandits you are! .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   . REMOVE  THE  INCOME CAP COMPLETELY ON SOCIAL SECURITY .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   . Third, if the right wing is really worried about the solvency of Social Security, then let's remove the cap on contributions to Social Security, taxing all income: dividends, interest, capital gains, hedge-fund money, et all (then we could fund Social Security with no worries for the next 10,000 years or so and probably still have enough left over to pay for medicare for all, or better yet, VA Healthcare for all.- starting at birth - and  we wouldn't even need Medicaid programs any more.  Win, win. The righties should love that.  No more medicare. .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 .   NATIONALIZE THE PUBLIC OIL-GAS-TAR SAND LEASES .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   . Fourthly,  since the American people technically own all the energy resources in the Gulf of Mexico and other off-shore areas, we should nationalize all the oil and gas leases on public lands and turn them over to the Environmental Protection Agency to run ( everyone lamented during the BP oil spill that the EPA "just didn't have enough expertise or resources" to be able to help much with the spill.  That's a problem.  This way, in no time at all the EPA would have the same money, resources, and expertise that the oil companies operating on public lands previously had (in fact, they could just hire them as the oil companies fired them).  Plus, the law should require that those energy products only be sold to United States citizens: so we could have 6 cent-a-gallon gas like Venezuela and Kuwaiti citizens.  Any funds left over (See Exxon: $ 50 billion, etc.), we could invest in non-polluting, non-fossil fuel, renewal energy resources and technologies. .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   .   FREE EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE FOR ALL .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  . Fifth, if we removed the cap on Social Security, raised the marginal tax rate back to 94%, fined job destroyers and rewarded job creators, nationalized the public energy lands, everybody in the United States could have a free education -- as far as you wanted to go.  That would provide good "social security" and be an excellent investment in our "national defense".  Our only real "national defense" is the investment we make in our people, particularly young people;  their life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness; their health, education, and their freedom to enjoy abundant energy,  pollution and toxin free.  Radical, you say?  You haven't even begun to imagine what "radical" would look like.  By the way, have you reserved you place in line for the guillotine yet? .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 .   BAIL OUT THE MIDDLE CLASS JUST LIKE WALL STREET .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  . Sixth, for the amount of money that the government used to bail-out wall-street, added to the 16 trillion the Federal Reserve loaned to Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Caterpillar, McDonalds, and others virtually interest free (including several hundred million to a couple of wives of politically important people), we could pay off every home mortgage in America and buy a house for anyone who wanted one.  Think of it.  Then everybody in America would be setting on a free and clear house with all their equity available.  You think the economy wouldn't be humming along right now. How many of you would spend a few discretionary dollars here and there if you owned your houses free and clear? Sell yours, build your dream house. The car of your dream. Your own movie theater in your family room.  These "capitalists" are so dumb. Yeah, I know.  You would actually have to work a little, and probably compete for it if the land rush was really on.  Real businessmen would come in and clean your clocks if there was real free enterprise and competitive capitalism. .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 .   Radical?  Shit, I've got three dozen more ideas just like this - half of them better than these. Odd thing, too. These rich bastards would be raking it in.  They are just too dumb to understand basic economics.  Or they have enjoyed monopoly business environments and crony capitalism so long that all they want to do is make risk-free money off the government dole.  Go, you mighty "job creators", you. Go!
