By Bifford Caulfield — Just when you think it couldn’t get any crazier, here comes GOP Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo) telling us that she has doubts that Barack Obama’s birth certificate is his real birth certificate.
“I mean, if someone asked for my birth certificate, I’d get my baby book and hand it out and say ‘Here it is,’ so I don’t know.” That’s true Vicky — you really don’t know.
Oh, and if you were Barack Obama, and a Democrat, and you just got your baby book and handed it out to us Republicans and said, ‘Here it is,’ so I don’t know. We, in the right wing clown parade would know it was a lie. You didn’t have a baby book, because you weren’t really born. And if you did, it would be a Planet Zeno baby book. and that so-called “birth certificate” — that was just a coupon your extra-terrestrial mother gave your Martian father as a gift certificate so that he could go and get a Kenyan rub-down at an illicit alien massage parlor.
Don’t try that old birth certificate hiding right there in your baby book gambit on us. We’ve already seen that movie. It’s called Hawai. You’re are so foreign, and your DNA so obviously doctored to make you look human. No way. Just the fact that you produced it means automatically that it is fake. And that GED you got instead of a high school diploma, an affirmative action fraud welfare give-away fake GED, that you bribed someone to give you. You European Socialist GED bearer, you. And besides, your particular IQ would not have qualified you for a GED. Oh, it’s all so simple.
Other positively brilliant things Hartzler has said or is famous for suggesting be done:
- Rep. Hartzler: Anti-Abortionists Should Post Pictures Of Fetuses In College Dorms
- Rep. Hartzler: ‘Christianity Is The Main Religion’
- Vicky Hartzler’s Slippery Slope On Marriage: ‘Why Not Allow A 50-Year-Old Man To Marry 12-Year-Old Girl?’
Historians will look back on the period of time as the time when a genetic flaw in Republicans expressed itself, leading the extinction of everyone with that flawed gene complex. Or, so the sane among us can only hope!
By Robert Sexton — A Rhode Island judge this week banned a 17 year old teenager from driving — FOR LIFE. I don’t know about you, but that seems crazy mean- spirited to me.
In most matters of law, we just barely consider a person 17 years old a fully accountable adult– if we even do.
Now in all fairness, I don’t know every detail of the youth’s driving record. I don’t if he/she was a repeat offender, or if the crime was a particularly egregious one. Or maybe committed against a prominent member of the community.
But I know this: if you cut off a toddler’s hand for being a repeat cookie snatcher, beat, suspend or expel a child from school for being tardy one too many times, or foreclose on his parent’s house because the child lost a school book– it won’t be very long before the citizens of the community lose all respect for the law — and you will already have created a community and a country no longer worth living in.
For those of you who revisit the site, and like an occasional burst of shorter, pithier remarks.
By Frank Glenn — Rick Santorum said in a speech this week that people in the Netherlands are afraid to go to the hospital there because 50% of them are involuntarily put to death when they go there — for any reason. The Dutch just can’t believe this guy is considered a serious political candidate in the United States. Welcome to Uncle Cracker land, guys!
This guy is certainly a liar — but he is also either stupid — or crazy!
Maybe he all three. Liar. Stupid. Crazy. Anyway — he’s history now. I can’t even imagine a warped billionaire would bet millions on a double-loser lame political horse. Santorum probably thinks he enhanced his chances of being a serious candidate next Presidential election. I can’t really see him working another job, either. But — truthfully — I think he spent this whole year proving to the American people that he is an untrustworthy, unstable, tone-deaf ideologue who has not place within 5,000 miles of the White House. In other words – he should be out of the country — but who would have him?
By Robert Sexton — None of the GOP ideas for the economy and the middle class in the last 30 years have worked for anybody but them and their rich friends. And now everyone knows it.
What would you do if you were a Republican? Hate women, abuse children, harass Latinos, blacks, and other minorities?
Freak out about homosexuals, fight gay marriage, ban abortion and contraception and family planning. Repeal healthcare, minimum wage, unemployment insurance, workmen’s compensation, pre-natal care, and child labor laws. Break unions, kill public education. Outlaw every religion except your own. Ban all the rest. Oh, yes, and lower taxes on your campaign contribution sugar daddies, end regulation, and profiitize every government function you can — and then abandon all all the rest of government except the part that gives the no-bid contracts that over pay you and the economic royalists you shill for. Sound like the perfect world? By all means, do vote Republican next November, then!
